  • Bird watching opportunities are everywhere but there are wonderful facilities at Pensthorpe Park and Holkham Beach with Norfolk Wildlife Trust Reserves at Hickling Broad, Ranworth Broad and Cley Marshes.

  • Walking & Cycling is fabulous locally - we can provide details of local cycle hire companies who can deliver to the house -

  • Weaver's Way can be accessed very close to the houses and is easy, flat walking on an old disused railway line.  Other walks are highlighted in Visit North Norfolk's website, for further information click here.

  • 12 Brilliant Walks in Norfolk - https://www.norfolk.gov.uk/out-and-about-in-norfolk/norfolk-trails/12-brilliant-walks-in-norfolk

  • The Norfolk Coast Path, known as Peddar's Way, provides 84 miles (135 km)) of walking from Hunstanton to Hopton-on-Sea through fantastic scenery and landscape. The majority of the Trail runs through the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).  Experience seaside towns and villages, tidal marshes teeming with wildlife, wide sandy beaches, pine woodlands and huge skies.
